Northwest Women\'s Surf Camps offers Private & Group Surf Instruction

 New for 2010, Selected Summer Weekend Group Lessons 

Group lessons teach students the fundamentals of surfing in a mixed ages and sexes group environment.  Cost for a three hour lesson with a full day\'s surf rental package from Cleanline Surf Shop is $139 per person.  Student to teacher ratio is 4:1 or less depending on size of group.  Group size is 3 to 8 students.  Ages 14 to 70 years young.  All students must have advanced beginner swimming skills.  A signed Liability Release Waiver and Registration Form must be submitted to the instructor prior to the lesson.  See dates below for selected weekend group lessons.  Book early to assure your space in the lesson.  Contact Director Lexie Hallahan at # 503 440 5782 or email surfcamps@freedomnw.com  to schedule.  Cash or check payable to NWWSC for payment of lesson.

We also offer Private Surf Lessons for 1-2 students.  This personalized lesson format provides you an experience that focuses the instructor on your specific needs to learn surfing.  Cost for three hour lesson is $150 per person.  Equipment not included.  Cleanline Surf Shops can set you up with all your day’s rental equipment needs.  $35/day for adult rental package.  $25/day for children’s rental package.  Contact Director Lexie Hallahan at # 503 440 5782 or email surfcamps@freedomnw.com  to schedule.  Cash or check payable to NWWSC for payment of lesson.

Time and location to be announced morning of or night before for both our Private and Group Lessons.    

Winter lessons (October to April) can sometimes be arranged, but we\'ll need to discuss days of the week you\'re available and match with conditions.  Contact Director with your inquiries anytime of the year.  "We will always try and make it happen for you!"   

What sets us apart from the rest?   

• All of our instructors are highly qualified with current certification in CPR, first aid & lifeguarding.
• We provide mature experienced surfers as instructors.
• Gath helmets are provided to our students.
• All carry a first aid kit and either a rescue surfboard or rescue tube, in case needed.
• We use proven NWWSC teaching methods.
• Our teacher to student ratio is 4:1 or less, depending on the lesson.
• NWWSC rental partner, Cleanline Surf Co., provides us our surfing equipment.
• We offer surf instruction for all ages of women, men, girls and boys.
• Advanced beginner to intermediate swimming skills are required
• A liability release waiver and registration form are required by all students. Parents must sign for all minors.
