Relax, stretch and begin each day with beach sun salutation yoga.  The scenic mountain and ocean beauty with the early morning light on Hanalei Bay ceases to amaze.   Immerse yourself in daily surf camps with instruction provided by our enthusiastic and supportive NWWSC surf coaches. Afternoon activities include Stand Up Paddleboard Lesson on Hanalei River, Hawaiian Slack Key and Ukelele Concert, Divine Planet Kauai Glass Anklet Beading Class, Massage at the Hanalei Day Spa, and an afternoon off for relaxation and personal time with the heart of Hanalei Town only a 2 block stroll from the house. Charming boutiques and uniquely Hawaiian shops, including Tropical Tantrum, Overboard, Hanalei Surf Company and Hanalei Poi Factory.  Rental services available for kayaks, bikes and snorkeling gear.

 

 Unique Cultural Exploration

 Special day and evening highlights during your stay include traditional lei making, Hawaiian hula and storytelling with respected teacher of Hawaiian Culture and Dance Mauli Cook and her hula sisters.  A world drumming circle with island artist Isa Maria at exotic Anini Beach. Our escape to the South Shore mid week begins with an early morning departure on Kauai Sea Tours Deluxe Catamaran to the famed Na Pali Coast. Abundant sea life spottings can include Humpback Whales, Spinner and Bottlenose Dolphins, Hawaiian Endangered Sea Turtles and countless Tropical Fish. We'll snorkel and sail the day away with a continental breakfast, lunch buffet and tropical Mai Tais along the trip. You'll experience the wind off the ocean and Kauai's vast beauty on this unique Catamaran Tour!

Back onshore the afternoon fun continues with a Kauai Coffee Estate "cupping", Wyland Art Gallery Tour in Kapa'a and a Ukelele lesson with oral history at Sam's Music.  That evening you're delivered back to Hanalei for a night of your own, with numerous restaurants and cafes to choose from for dinner.

 

Retreat Transportation

Van transportation and driver will pick you up and deliver you to the airport. Van and driver also provided for South Shore Getaway and Retreat Outings. No need for your own rental vehicle is necessary. Hanalei is very walker friendly.

 

Payment Options for our 2010 Kauai Bali Hai Week Retreat

Payment Options for the Retreat include Full Credit Card Payment at the time of your registration. Or you can charge 25% Non-refundable Deposit on your Credit Card with the Balance due January 15.  Or you can send a check in the full amount, payable to NWWSC, before January 20, 2010. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 425, Seaside, OR 97138.  After February 15, 2010, contact Director for availability and choice of accomodations remaining.   


Shared Master Suites w/ Private Bathroom $ 3495. Sleeps two per suite with two suites available. 

Shared Queen Bed Suite w/ shared bathroom $3195.  Sleeps four in this suite.

Shared Bunk Bed Room w/ shared bathroom $ 2995.  Sleeps 3 in this bedroom.

Cancellation Policy

Please read our Cancellation Policy before registering for our Week Retreat Event. In order to receive a full refund for cancellation of the women's week retreat, your request needs to be made 3 months prior to the event date. This is because of advance accommodation and transportation reservations, instructors scheduling time-offs from their regular employment, and limited space availability for the retreat. A 25% non-refundable portion of the event's total cost will be applied after the 3 month time frame, if you need to cancel. The remaining 75% balance will be issued in either a credit towards future camps or events, and/or cash by way of a NWWSC check. If you paid with Active.com on your credit card, there are processing fees that can not be refunded.
